The Tula bar has been designed with one thing in mind - PURE SPEED.  Developed using the latest techniques and tested beyond industry standards. Tula sets the new benchmark for all other aero bars to follow. With it's race legal 3:1 aerodynamic profile and low drag design, the Tula bar slips through the air almost unnoticed - a proven 15 watt saving when traveling at over 30mph. The angle adjustable arm rests combined with parallel brake levers and hand pods, ensures pilots can find their optimum attack position.  The USE Tula Aero Bars were used by Kristin Armstrong of USA to power her way to Olympic Gold medal during the Beijing Games 2008.

WATT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
At 30mph, the USE TULA Aero bar saves up to 15 watts, over other high-end aero bar set-ups. This has been verified by world leaders Engenuity with their C.F.D. (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and Michael Hutchinson at the Manchester Velodrome.
"The faster you go, the greater the saving over other high-end aero bar set-ups."  In simple terms, the faster you ride, the more power (watts) you have to produce to obtain this speed.

Solid victories in UK National 10 and 50 mile Time Trials from Michael Hutchinson backed up their claims of it being "the fastest handlebar on the market". Building on this success USE now introduce the seond bar in the TULA aero range, the clip-on TULA BOOST BAR.

Inspired by USE's sponsored athlete and World champion Richard Stannard, the USE TULA BOOST BAR delivers aerodynamic performance from a clip-on design that boasts almost infinite position adjustment from features like the "Rock 'n Roll" arm rest adjusters. Weight saving was also high on the design agenda. The BOOST BAR PRO EDITION oozes carbon parts and weighs in at a scant 308g with full length extensions and Fizik Gel pads.

For true weight freaks like Stannard extra shavings can be had from accessories soon to be available such as the Pro-Short-Extensions with bridge piece and Pro-Foam-Pads, which will bring the overall weight down to an incredible 220g.

The essence of AD is the balancing of the braking torque and inertial forces with the dive tendencies of the cycle. The bike does not dive or rise when the brakes are applied, but stays fully active to absorb hits. USE designed a monoblade construction to maximise stiffness and torsional rigidity. The monoblade feature is separate and distinct from the AD feature.
