Hayes Brakes

Hayes Stroker Ace

The Stroker Ace features Hayes first four piston, forged mono block caliper and biggest pads ever, giving the ACE tremendous heat management capabilities.  It is designed with a longer lever for increased leverage at the bar and mated to the proven Stroker master cylinder - makes Hayes' most powerfull brakes ever while weighing only 440 grams.  It trumps all the other gravity oriented brakes in the market today.

Hayes Stroker Gram

The Stroker Gram stands by it's name - Gram -.  A lighter brake for the weight weenie cross country racers or the pedal up - pedal down all mountain bike riders.  What sets the Gram apart from all other models in the Stroker family is the removal of non-structural material on the master cylinder (approved & confirmed by finite element analysis or FEA standards) leaving behind a form that is strong as it is sexy.  It's dressed up with titanium hardware & lightweight aluminum backed pads.  There are lighter brakes but can they match the Gram's combination of weight, power, modulation, serviceability, durability and value?  We dont think so.

Hayes Stroker Carbon

The Stroker Carbon packs all the features of the Stroker Trail disc brakes but with the addition of a carbon fiber lever.  We also subtituted with aluminum backed pads in place of the standard steel backed pads.  The result is almost certainly the most capable, lightweight and controllable brakeset you can find at it's price.

Hayes Stroker Trail

The Stroker Trail features an indexed, tool free reach adjust dial that makes setup a snap.  The caliper features an adjustable banjo for tight, snag free hose routing, plus Hayes signature tool free pad removal. It also boasts a greater hydraulic ratio than the Ryde, for enhanced stopping power and modulation.  This brake has already been ridden to numerous World Cup victories.  Also available in slate grey finish.

Hayes Stroker Ryde

The Stroker Ryde is the entry level Stroker model from Hayes but it's anything but entry level.  The essential Stroker ingredients are all here - the radial master cylinder, the increased fluid volume, the ergonomic lever design and most important - the proven power and modulation.  A total system weight of 407 g per brake, the Ryde packs higher performance at an affordable price and weight than any other brands out there.
