Argon 18

2010 E114

The Argon 18 E-114 frameset is so innovative and exclusive that it has won the 2008 Eurobike Award on pushing the envelope in the field of bicycle design.  The frame features with 6600 Hi Modulus carbon fiber aero tubes with ONEness concept integrated front end which is copied by most manufacturers in the market today.  The ONEness system is a structural fairing that masks the headtube and brake from airflow and supports the handlebar eliminating the stem.  The E-114 radical forms result in a 12% aerodynamic improvement in a headwind and 18% average aero gain in sidewinds.  Also included is 2 way post which can change seat tube angles from 76 or 78 degree.

Frameset includes aero fork & post, headset, ONEness system (stem, bars & aerobars) & brakes.

2010 E112

Designed and engineered in Canada.  Argon 18's E112 has used the E-114 big brother design using aerodynamic integration which features 100% pure hi-modulus 5606 carbon fiber tubes for lightweight and stiffness.  It still features the 2 way reversible seatpost for either a 78 or 76 degree seat tube angle.
Colors:  Red+Carbon
Frameset is sold with Aero forks & post, headset.

2010 E80

The new Argon 18 E80 frameset has been completely redesign from top to bottom in a quest for yet more speed & aerodynamics.  The frame features T3 triple butted aluminum tubes with HDS principle to be aerodynamically effecient and a new carbon fork with internal cable routing.  A 2 way aero carbon fiber seatpost which is reversible and can be used either a 78 or 76 degree seat tube angle.
Color:  White, Red+Black
Frameset includes fork, aero post, headset & brakes

2009 E-114 Frameset

The 2009 Argon 18 E-114 has the most aerodynamic integrated frameset from headtube to the seattube to the bars & brakes.  It is designed to the ONEness - a structural fairing that masks the headtube and supports the handlebar assembly.  This frame is throttled by no less than Torbjorn Sinballe - recording the fastest bike split on 2007 Kona Ironman (using the E-114) & 2nd fastest bike split on the recent 2008 Kona Ironman Championships in Kona Hawaii.  Placing the podium for bike splits two years in a row on a very competitive sport is not an easy task so this frame is something else compared to the others.  The frameset includes an aero carbon fork & seat post, brakes, aerobars (2 sets), cowhorns, brake levers & elbow pads.

2009 E-112 Frameset

The 2009 Argon 18 E-112 is now updated with improved aerodynamics - 5% better performance in an on-axis headwind & 13% better performance on sidewind compared to the E-80.  The E-112 will be ridden by Samantha McGlone for her races as she won two triathlon events on the old and trusted Mercury.  Closely patterned with its big brother - the E-114 to have the most accurate steering & rock solid stability even on any intense effort.

2009 E-80 Frameset

New for 2009.  Argon 18 delivers again the best bang for the buck time trial frameset, featuring the new E-80.  The frame features a full carbon aero rear triangle (seatstay & chainstay is carbon fiber) to give the best aerodynamic design & comfort combined.  Extruded, triple butted aluminum main trianlge with aero, teardrop shaped tube sections ensures no loss of power.  100% carbon fiber fork rounds out the package and complements the frame and enhances integrity of frame design.  The E-80 replaces the tried & tested Argon 18 Mercury.

Element 112 Frameset

Originally, the Element-114 design project was undertaken for the purpose of creating a new time-trial/triathlon frameset for our group of Argon 18 pro athletes. As testing and prototype development progressed, we accumulated such a wealth of data and usable ideas that we ended up with not one but two framesets, the second being the E-112, molded in the same molds that shape the E-114 and an outstandingly stable and aerodynamic frameset in its own right.
Size: XS, S, M or L. Color: White frame with black/white carbon forks.
